Suffolk County prosecutor Tim Burke
Tim Burke maintains the same story in his comment on April 21, 2021

The statement reads, "As far as a comment...Paradiso openly bragged about killing both Marie Iannuzzi and Joan Webster while awaiting trial for the murder of Marie Iannuzzi. Mr. Paradiso provided details of how he committed both murders to two individuals, who then provided significant corroborative evidence in the case that could have come from no other source other than Paradiso. The jury also heard extensive evidence about other suspects at Mr. Paradiso's trial [Iannuzzi Trial]. There is no question in my mind that Paradiso, and he alone, was responsible for the deaths of Marie Iannuzzi and Joan Webster."
