Authorities alleged Leonard Paradiso murdered Joan Webster on the Malafemmena and dumped her body in Boston Harbor.

Court records affirm the Malafemmena, the alleged crime scene for Joan's murder did not exist when Joan Webster disappeared on November 28, 1981.

CR 85-010-S was the Federal Bankruptcy Case, The United States of America v. Leonard J. Paradiso. Count C involved the alleged crime scene, the Malafemmena. Judge Bruce Selya affirmed the boat did not exist by August 1981 when Paradiso filed for bankruptcy, nearly four months before Joan disappeared.

George Webster, father of the victim, was aware of CR 85-010-S.

Joan's remains surfaces more than 30 miles from the alleged scene of the crime and not disposed of in Boston Harbor.
